The Governor has extended the Executive Order to hold meetings remotely.

The ZBA Public Hearing continuation for the proposed Daughters of Charities Ministries of St. Vincent Development, taking place on Thursday, March 3rd, 2022 will now be held, virtually via google meets at 6:00 PM.

They are applying for a Use and Area Variance for this proposed project for development of independent and assisted living units, memory care units and 60 cottages.

Daughters of Charities Ministries is located in and “R” Zone. Chapter 169 Schedule “A” does not list this proposed development as a “Principal Use Permitted by Right” or a “Use Permitted by Special Permit” therefore is not allowed in a “R” Zone.

Also, Chapter 169 Schedule “B” stated in and “R” Zone the maximum Building Height is 35’ and the number of stores is 2 ½. The primary building height us 79’ and exceed 2 ½ stories.

Such public hearings are open to the public and are accessible to the handicapped. All are encouraged to attend or to present comments in writing.
