NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held by the Village of Menands Zoning Board of Appeals on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 6:00 P.M. in the Library of the Menands School, 19 Wards Lane, Menands, New York. Please enter through the District Office doors.
The purpose of the hearing is to consider the following application for Area Variances:
Applicant: Nurettin Ulukaya
Representative: Daniel C. Kaufman, P.E.
Property: 35 (formerly 37A) Clifford Road, Menands, NY
The applicant is seeking Area Variances to permit the development of a new single-family residence. The proposed project requires relief from the following provisions of the Village Code:
Chapter 169, Attachment 2, Schedule B (R-1 Residential District)
1. Minimum Lot Size Requirement: 8,000 square feet required.
o Proposed lot size: 5,507 square feet
2. Minimum Lot Width Requirement: 70 feet required.
o Proposed lot width: 41.25 feet
