Village of Menands Lead & Copper Testing – Volunteers Needed

The Village of Menands is preparing for our next round of Lead and Copper testing and we’re looking for residents interested in participating.

Important Details:

• Test kits will be delivered on Tuesday, April 23rd during the day.
• Each kit will include easy-to-follow instructions.
• To ensure accurate results, it requires at least 8 hours of no water use prior to collecting the sample.
• Completed sample kits must be left out by noon on Wednesday, April 24th (in the same location where it was dropped off), to be collected by Village staff.

We aim to select residents throughout the Village, especially homes known to have lead service lines, to ensure we are gathering the most accurate data.
Please Note: Completing the form does not guarantee selection for this round, but we will keep your information on file for future testing opportunities.
