The Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Menands, held on Friday,
April 29, 2011 was called to order by Mayor Megan Grenier at 7:44 P.M. following the Public Hearing.

Also attending: Bill Garvey, Tom Coates, Diane Brunelle, James Sher, Theresa Montanye, Buzz Harbour, Kirk Montanye, Peter Molinaro, Joyce O’Brien, Shelagh Nugent, Bob Schanz, Ronald Miller, John Stangle and Rosa Marie Costillo Kesper.
Due to its effect on the 2011 – 2012 Budget Trustee Lansing moved seconded by Trustee Mackay a resolution adopting the proposed local law repealing Local Law No 1 of 2010 and Chapter 30 of the Village of Menands Code including all amendments.

The Clerk discussed the suggested changes to the 2011 – 2012 Preliminary Budget that where changed after the last meeting to:

A discussion followed after which Trustee Lansing moved seconded by Trustee Mackay a resolution passing the Preliminary 2011 – 2012 Budget with the proposed changes except to increase the estimated surplus appropriate for Tax Relief by $60,000.00 not the $110,000.00 as proposed in the changes.
