Menands Senior Update – December 3rd, 2025

Tomorrow, 12/4/2025, is our annual Christmas/Holiday Party, 12 Noon to 3:00 PM, at the Zaloga post, 4 Everett Road, Albany.
Everyone has been assigned seats at a table with or near their friends. If you have forgotten, there is an easel in the vestibule with the table assignments listed.

12/9/2025-12/11/2025, Lancaster Bus Trip, leaving the Mid-City Plaza (behind KFC Chicken) at 7:00 AM. Our bus driver’s name is Joe Antignani, “Joe Bus,” He’s s an old favorite.

Our Dear Friend and Menands Senior Secretary, Sheila Hyatt, is retiring Editor of the “Menands Monthly,” formerly known as “The Menands Activities,” After many years of devoted service, the Village is honoring her with a proclamation to be presented to her at the Village Board Meeting, 12/15/2025, at 6:00 PM. This meeting is held on the second floor of the Village Hall, 250 Broadway, in the former Village Court Room. I hope you can join in celebrating this honor with Sheila.

Our next and last Business Meeting for the year is December 18, 2025. I hope you will join us, there is much to discuss and celebrate, (except if it snows).
