We celebrated another year in Menands at our Menands Community Night held at Ganser-Smith Park on August 20th. It was a great time! Music, food, and entertainment.

Menands was recently awarded a $15,000 grant from Albany County to explore and design better parking and ADA compliance at Ganser-Smith Memorial Park.

An official groundbreaking ceremony will be held tentatively during the first week of September for the South End Water & Sewer project. Hutton Street Park will be the spot for the ceremony. This is the result of 8 years of planning and design, and thousands of hours of our time. This is a once-in-a-generation improvement to our infrastructure for Menands.

We are working on redesigning the Village courtroom space into a new boardroom for holding our Board of Trustees meetings with enhanced audio and video, so it is easier for online access and participation during our sessions. The former court office will become a multi-use conference room for our Village departments and organizations to use when needed. We will post some photos soon
