All the 30 MPH signs have been swapped out to 25 MPH. We also placed “Children at Play” signs where appropriate.

The “Get the Lead Out” team has been actively walking the South End and Center Village to make contact with residents to inventory the Village’s properties that have lead water lines. It has been going well, and FAR fewer Village homes have been found to have lead than expected. For more information, visit our webpage menandsny.gov/lead/

The CDPHP Cycle! bicycles powered by CDTA have returned to in front of the village office at 280 Broadway and at Morgan Linen 145 Broadway are available to rent through the associated CDTA app.

Congratulations to Ryan Buskey for his recognition and for winning the indoor state championship for the second straight year. We wish him well as he competes at the University of Georgia soon.

The South End Infrastructure Upgrade Project is picking up with crews actively connecting homes to the new water service lines along lower Amsterdam Avenue and progressing toward Hutton Street. They will then continue up Wolfert Ave. Residents are reminded that NO PARKING signs are posted throughout the construction zone and should be observed to help ensure work can continue safely and efficiently. We thank everyone for their continued patience and understanding as this project continues.
