South End water and sewer work continues to move ahead. We have encountered some bumps along the way, but our DPW is working with the contractor to minimize disruptions. Reminder to see progress updates at the bottom of the project webpage: menandsny.gov/southendproject/
The government shutdown is over…for now. It was amazing to see all the generosity come forward to help those in need during the month of uncertainty.
NSH USA is putting the final touches on its building expansion at 47 Broadway. It is a beautiful addition to our Broadway corridor. A dedication ceremony is scheduled for Spring 2026.
The Village of Menands is working with the US EPA to ensure our water system, in conjunction with individual property owners, is replacing known existing lead water lines to ensure the health of our residents. The project is called “Get-the-Lead-Out” (GLO for short). You will receive some information on this initiative very soon.
