School Crossing Guard (Hourly)

Applications are being accepted for the 2013-2014 school year. A crossing guard(s) is needed 10 hours per week when school is in session at a rate of $14.00 per hour. They will ensure the safe crossing of school children at the designated crosswalk before and after school (7:45-8:45 a.m. and 2:45-3:45 p.m. daily).   Potential candidates will be required to be a Menands Resident and undergo training and background checks. This position will be under the supervision of the Menands Chief of Police. Applications may be picked up at the Village Office or Menands School between the hours of 9-4, Monday – Friday until September 20th. Any questions call 463-1681.
