The regular semi-monthly meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Menands, held on Tuesday, February 16th, 2016 was called to order by Mayor Megan Grenier at 6:00 P.M.

Also attending: Chief O’Brien, Mike Hagmann, Bill Garvey, Paul Cooney, Brian Marsh, John Stangle, Susan & Elizabeth Mackay.
The Mayor led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Open Forum:
Resident Bill Garvey commented on several items, unlit street lights, shopping carts in the road.
Resident Brian Marsh asked who was responsible for cleaning up the fence opposite the KFC building. The Mayor advised him that the DPW had already cleaned it up today (2/16/16).
A motion was made by Trustee Harris, seconded by Trustee Nicoll to accept the minutes of the February 1st, 2016 Board Meeting as amended.

Trustee Harris made a motion, seconded by Trustee Nicoll to approve payment for the following:
WARRANT # 18:
GENERAL totaling $39,099.64
WATER totaling $ 9,428.70
SEWER totaling $ 997.41
TOTALS $49,525.75
PAYROLL # 18: totaling $72,409.10

Department Heads presented their Budget Proposals to the Board and answered all questions.
After which the Treasurer reported the Tax Cap for the next fiscal year is .12% or about $2,600.
After a discussion it was agreed to schedule the Boards Budget Workshop for Tuesday, March, 8th, 2016 at 5:30 P.M.
At 6:29 P.M. Trustee Nicoll made a motion, seconded by Trustee Boulet to enter into Executive Session to discuss a personnel issue.
