The regular semi-monthly meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Menands, held on Monday, December 18th, 2017 was called to order by Mayor Megan Grenier at 6:00 P.M.

The Mayor led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Open Forum:
Resident John Stangle advised the Village Clerk that the lights outside the entrance of the firehouse are not working. Clerk advised he will have it looked at tomorrow.
Resident Brian Marsh advised the Board that he is going to put in a formal complaint to Public Service Commission regarding power outages in the Sage Hill Area against National Grid.
A motion was made by Trustee Boulet, seconded by Trustee Nicoll to accept the minutes of the December 4th, 2017 Regular Meeting as well as Local Law # 3 of 2017 amending Article XII Traffic and Parking Regulations Section 160.66 Parking prohibited in certain locations.

A motion was made by Trustee Boulet, seconded by Trustee Nicoll to approve payments for the following:

PARK IMPROVEMENT: totaling $ 3,819.50
PAYROLL # 14: totaling $79,038.57

Trustee Foley made a motion for the Clerk to apply for the Local Government Records Management Improvement Fund Grant, seconded by Trustee Boulet.

Mayor Grenier advised the Board that Eric Johnson is out sick and was going to advise the Board on the status of different grants the Village has applied for.
The Mayor commented that the Menands Fire Co/Auxiliary Christmas Party, that she attended as a member of the Auxiliary, was very nice.
Mayor Grenier thanked Village Attorney Steve Rehfuss for his donation towards the Village Christmas Party at Poppy’s.
Trustee Boulet thanked the Menands Fire Department for going around the Village with Santa. The residents and children of Menands really enjoy it every year.
At 6:07 P.M. Trustee Harris made a motion, seconded by Trustee Boulet to enter into Executive Session to discuss a personnel matter.
