Additional Special Pickup Date for August 5th

Due to the recent wet weather in Menands and the resulting water volume that caused leakage in some residents’ basements, Mayor Brian Marsh has added an additional Special Pickup date to the August DPW calendar.

Special Pickup will occur on Wednesday, August 5th, in addition to the regular monthly pickup on August 12th.

All rules for special pickup remain in place including: no prohibited items (visit: menandsny.gov/departments/department-of-public-works/refuse/pickup-schedule/ or call the office for the full list), no contractor debris, and no paint (recycle options are also listed on our website). Please note all items must be at the curb by 7 AM for collection.
